Garden sheds for sale Sussex. We don’t just have log cabins to buy. We also sell a large range of garden sheds made by Shedlands, who are a long established shed manufacturer based in the UK. These are quality sheds at great prices and not the weak and wobbly sheds for sale that you see on the internet or in the large DIY chains. Not only that, but the prices include nationwide delivery and installation. Installation directly from the factory means that they are built properly by professionals, so you can rest assured that you will have a trouble free experience with us. We have plenty on display in our show site, so if possible we urge you to come and see them.
Lots of shed options
There are standard sizes for the sheds but there is also the option for custom sizes or bespoke designs and layouts – all at very little or no extra cost (for instance there is no charge for moving a door or window to a different position).
May be you don’t want a thick walled log cabin but do require a stronger than average garden building. We offer upgrades for the framing size (some of them already have bigger framing). Most of the sheds have 38x50mm framing, this is the “nominal size” which is the dimensions of the timber before planing and machined to a smooth regulated finish. The actual finished size of this standard framework is 32x44mm. The upgrade options are for 44x44mm and then 44x70mm (actual finished sizes).
There are also upgrades for the cladding as well. The standard cladding is 16mm “nominal ” (12mm finished size) and the options to upgrade are as follows (all listed as the actual finished sizes) –
- 18mm Shiplap
- 15mm Loglap
- 15mm Tanalised Shiplap
The Tanalised (pressure treated) shiplap is a great option as not only do you get thicker cladding but also pressure treatment against rot and fungal attack (guaranteed for 10 years!)
Then we move on to something that is rarely an option with sheds which is factory painting. There are lots of colours to choose from and it won’t break the bank. With this option you can have everything done for you – once it’s installed, it’s ready to go!
Dalby Garden Sheds on display in Horsham Sussex
This is our starting range of garden sheds, ideal for basic garden storage. There are lots of standard sizes available in both apex and pent roof styles. We have the 8x6ft Apex shed on display in our Sussex show site. This show model is the pressure treated Tanalised version which by default increases the shiplap cladding from 12mm thick up to 15mm thick (finished size after machining). The basic 6x4ft pent shed is also on show in our Horsham display site. Please contact us if you need a custom shed size and we will quote for whatever shed size that you need.
Supreme sheds
As the name suggests, these are the next level up from the Dalby shed range. These are taller and have a 3ft wide ledged and braced door, with a lock and key, as standard. There are many more shed upgrade options available, see below.
Heavy Duty Sheds
These garden sheds not only have stronger 50x50mm framework but also have 3 Georgian windows, one of which opens, and a rim lock with door knob as well. The generous height means they are perfect for a garden workshop.
Security Sheds
These sheds really do have security in mind. There is framework every foot / 12 inches / 305mm to which the cladding is nailed to. Thereby main a really strong wall. You can make it even stronger by upgrading to a thicker cladding listed in the optional extras pricelist below. There are narrow high level windows which introduce natural light inside, but these too small to gain entry through. Then there is the door – this has bolted through hinges so it is not possible to take these off. Plus there is a padlock protector such that it shrouds your padlock making it impossible to gain entry with bolt cutters or angle grinder.
Dutch Barn Shed
This is a shed with a distinct design which makes use of the extra space in the roof void. It comes with double doors and a mezzanine storage area. There are 3 windows, the middle on which opens for ventilation.
Corner Shed
Quite often the obvious place to site your shed is in a corner of your garden. Square or rectangular can look somewhat awkward in this type of location. Enter the corner shed, this is perfectly design for such a site. It softens the protruding leading corner and blends right into your garden like it was just meant to be there.
Potting Sheds
These sheds are a perfect combination building – you want a greenhouse but also garden storage. Why not have both in 1 building? You have everything to hand that you need to grow your plants as well as your mower and tools for tending to your lawn, hedges and flowers.
In addition to our log cabins and garden sheds, we also sell the large range of Shedlands garden workshops and attractive summerhouses as well. These have the same quality standards as the above sheds. The Shedlands summerhouses are built in the traditional framed method as opposed to our her range of garden summerhouses.
